Line Zero Submission Guidelines

The deadline for the Winter issue is December 31, 2013

The Poetry & Literary Contests – Each issue of Line Zero features the best of the current literary world with focus on the talent of the indie writer. We are searching for the most engaging and compelling stories and poems, regardless of genre. Line Zero is working to shatter the stigma of “poor quality work” often attached to independent authors and bring their voices to the forefront of popular culture. We publish 8 short stories and 10 poems per issue.

The Art & Photography Contest – Each issue also features an art & photography contest.  All finalists entries will be featured in the print publication of Line Zero in black and white and also on the website in full color. We publish from 12 to 20 pieces per issue.

Journalistic Content – Line Zero publishes non-fiction articles and essays on writing, publishing, book and album reviews, interviews, visual art, photography essays and other topics related to the arts industries. If you would like to contribute to the editorial content of Line Zero, please pitch your ideas to the managing editor, Renda Dodge. When pitching story ideas be as specific as possible and include a short bio with your idea. Please pitch an actual story idea, while we love to work with new writers we are looking for contributors with strong interests and ideas.
